1. Important Safety Instructions

Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

General Safety

  • Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

The double safety switch design requires both the ON/OFF switch and the safety button to be engaged for operation, increasing security and preventing accidental contact.

3. Setup

3.1 Assembly of the Telescopic Pole

  1. Align the extension rod with the main unit.
  2. Push the rod firmly into the connection point until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Ensure the connection is tight before use.

3.2 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Insert the 20V 2.0Ah Lithium Battery into the battery slot on the handle until it locks.
  2. To charge, remove the battery from the tool.
  3. Connect the charger to a power outlet and then connect the battery to the charger.
  4. Allow approximately 60 minutes for a full charge. The charger indicator light will show charging status.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting and Stopping

  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely installed.
  2. Press and hold the safety button, then squeeze the ON/OFF switch to start the trimmer.
  3. Release the ON/OFF switch to stop the trimmer.

4.2 Adjusting the Cutting Head Angle

The cutting head can be adjusted up to 105° to suit various trimming angles, including tops of hedges, sides, and ground cover.

  1. With the trimmer off, locate the rotating knob near the cutting head.
  2. Press the knob and adjust the head to the desired angle.
  3. Release the knob to lock the head in position.

4.3 Using the Telescopic Function

The split shaft design allows the trimmer to extend, providing a maximum height of approximately 2.40 meters (94.5 inches) for reaching high hedges.

  1. Loosen the locking mechanism on the telescopic pole.
  2. Extend the pole to the desired length.
  3. Securely tighten the locking mechanism before operation.

4.4 Trimming Techniques

  • For vertical surfaces: Use a sweeping motion, moving the trimmer from bottom to top.
  • For horizontal surfaces: Hold the trimmer at a slight angle and sweep across the top of the hedge.
  • Avoid overreaching. Maintain a balanced stance and use the telescopic function to reach higher areas safely.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Blade Care

The trimmer is equipped with rust-proof, laser-cut blades made from alloy steel, designed for sharp, high hardness, and wear resistance.

  • Cleaning: After each use, clean the blades with a stiff brush to remove sap and debris.
  • Lubrication: Apply a light machine oil or blade lubricant to the blades regularly to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.
  • Sharpening: If blades become dull, have them professionally sharpened or replace them. Always ensure the tool is disconnected from the battery before any maintenance.

5.2 General Cleaning and Storage

  • Wipe down the tool's body with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
