- Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure the 24-hour subdial also reflects the correct AM/PM (day/night) period.

- Setting the Date:
- Pull the crown out to the first click position.
- Rotate the crown (usually counter-clockwise) to set the correct date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.

24-Hour Time Display
The small subdial typically located at the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position displays the time in a 24-hour format, synchronized with the main hour hand. This helps distinguish between AM and PM when setting the time.
Luminous Hands and Markers
The hands and hour markers on your watch are treated with a luminous material. Exposure to light (natural or artificial) will charge this material, allowing the watch to glow in low-light conditions. The duration and intensity of the glow depend on the exposure time and light source.
Maintenance
Cleaning Your Watch
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For the silicone strap, a damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by thorough drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Water Resistance (100 Meters)
Your Bulova watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM). This means it is suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and showering. However, it is not suitable for scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged in water, as this can compromise the water resistance and damage the movement.

Battery Replacement
This watch is powered by a quartz movement and requires a battery. When the battery is depleted, the watch will stop running. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by an authorized Bulova service center or a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
- Chronograph hands not resetting to zero: If the chronograph hands do not return to their 12 o'clock positions after pressing Pusher B, they may need calibration. Consult an authorized service center.
- Date not changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. If the date changes at noon instead of midnight, advance the time by 12 hours.
- Condensation under crystal: This may indicate a loss of water resistance. Have the watch inspected by a professional immediately.
