Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the iron and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Initial Inspection: Check the iron for any signs of damage. Note that it is normal to find condensation inside the water tank, as all irons are pre-tested at the factory.

  3. Filling the Water Tank: Ensure the iron is unplugged. Open the water tank inlet and fill with tap water up to the MAX line. For optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup, distilled water is recommended, especially in areas with hard water.

  4. Plugging In: Plug the iron into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Temperature Selection: Turn the temperature dial to select the appropriate setting for your fabric type (e.g., Cotton, Wool, Poly, Silk, Linen, Nylon). The iron will automatically adjust to the correct temperature.
  2. Heating Up: The indicator light will illuminate while the iron is heating. It will turn off when the desired temperature is reached.
  3. Ironing: Glide the iron smoothly over the fabric. The stainless steel soleplate with 430 microsteam holes ensures even steam distribution for efficient wrinkle removal.

  4. Steam Function: Press the steam button for a powerful burst of steam to tackle stubborn creases.
  5. Vertical Steaming: For delicate garments or drapes, hold the iron vertically and press the steam button.

  6. High-Precision Spray: Use the spray function to moisten fabric for easier ironing, especially on dry or heavily wrinkled areas.

  7. Eco Setting: Activate the eco setting to reduce energy consumption during ironing sessions.
  8. Auto-Off Feature: For safety, the iron will automatically turn off if left unattended for a period of time (e.g., 30 seconds horizontally, 8 minutes vertically).

Maintenance

  • Emptying the Water Tank: After each use, unplug the iron and allow it to cool. Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup.
  • Cleaning the Soleplate: If the soleplate becomes dirty, clean it with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use metallic scouring pads or abrasive powders.
  • Anti-Calc System: The integrated anti-calc system helps to maintain steam performance. Refer to the full user manual for specific instructions on descaling if necessary.
  • Storage: Store the iron upright on its heel rest in a safe, dry place once it has completely cooled.

Troubleshooting
