Changing Chimes

Each receiver features 52 selectable chimes. To change the chime:

  • Press the music selection button (note icon) on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available melodies.
  • Once you find your preferred chime, it will be automatically saved. The receiver remembers your last melody even after being unplugged.

Adjusting Volume

The receivers offer 5 levels of adjustable volume (0 dB to 110 dB).

  • Press the volume control button (speaker icon) on the side of the receiver to adjust the volume level.
  • Continue pressing until you reach your desired loudness. The receiver remembers your last volume setting.

Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: The transmitter uses a CR2032 battery. When the LED indicator on the push button no longer lights up or the range decreases significantly, it's time to replace the battery. Carefully open the transmitter casing to access and replace the battery.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Optimal Performance: Ensure receivers are not obstructed by large metal objects or thick walls, which can reduce wireless range.

Troubleshooting

  • No Sound from Receiver: Check if the receiver is properly plugged into a live outlet. Ensure the volume is not set to mute (0 dB). Re-pair the transmitter and receiver if necessary.
  • Short Wireless Range: Relocate receivers closer to the transmitter. Avoid placing receivers near large metal objects, thick walls, or other electronic devices that may cause interference. Replace the transmitter battery if it's low.
  • Transmitter Not Working: Check if the battery insulation tab has been removed. Replace the CR2032 battery. Ensure the push button is not damaged.
  • Interference: If the doorbell triggers unexpectedly, it might be due to interference. Try changing the chime melody to a different frequency.
