  3. Cleaning: Before first use, clean the water tanks and dispensing area. Refer to the 'Maintenance and Cleaning' section for detailed instructions.

5. Operating Instructions

Dispensing Water:

  • Place a cup or glass under the desired tap.
  • For Cold Water: Press the cold water tap lever.
  • For Ambient Water: Press the ambient water tap lever.
  • For Hot Water: Simultaneously press the child safety lock button (usually on top of the hot water tap) and then press the hot water tap lever. Release the lever to stop the flow.

Child Safety Lock:

The hot water tap is equipped with a child safety lock to prevent accidental dispensing of hot water. Always engage this lock when not in use, especially in households with children.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and hygienic operation of your water dispenser.

Daily/Weekly Cleaning:

  • Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Empty and clean the drip tray regularly. Remove the tray, wash it with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry before replacing.

Monthly/Quarterly Cleaning (Descaling):

It is recommended to descale your water dispenser every 3-6 months, depending on water hardness and usage.

  1. Unplug the Dispenser: Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Remove Water Bottle: Take off the empty water bottle.
  3. Drain Water: Drain all remaining water from both hot and cold tanks by dispensing from all taps until no more water comes out.
  4. Prepare Cleaning Solution: Mix a solution of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water) or a food-grade descaling agent according to product instructions.
  5. Pour Solution: Pour the cleaning solution into the water bottle receptacle.
  6. Soak: Allow the solution to sit in the tanks for 15-30 minutes to dissolve mineral deposits.
  7. Drain Solution: Drain the cleaning solution through all taps until the tanks are empty.
  8. Rinse: Rinse the tanks thoroughly by filling the receptacle with clean tap water and draining it through all taps. Repeat this rinsing process 2-3 times to ensure no residual cleaning solution remains.
  9. Dry: Allow the internal tanks to air dry completely before re-installing a water bottle and plugging in the unit.
