Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
  2. Insert the two AAA rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

2. Base Unit Connection

  1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE jack on the base unit.
  2. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.
  3. Connect the small end of the power adapter to the DC IN 6V jack on the base unit.
  4. Plug the large end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

3. Initial Charging

Place the handset on the base unit. The display will show a charging indicator. For optimal battery performance, charge the handset for at least 12-15 hours before initial use, even if the display indicates a full charge.

Operating Instructions

Making a Call

  1. Press the TALK button.
  2. Dial the desired phone number.
  3. To end the call, press the END/C button or place the handset back on the base unit.

Answering a Call

When the phone rings, press the TALK button to answer the call.

Using the Speaker Phone

During a call, press the SPEAKER button (or the button with the speaker icon) to activate the speakerphone. Press it again to switch back to the handset earpiece.

Adjusting Volume

During a call, use the CID/V+ and RD/V- buttons to adjust the earpiece or speakerphone volume.

Phone Book Operations

  1. Storing a Number: Press MENU, navigate to "PHONEBOOK", select "ADD NEW", enter the name and number, then save.
  2. Dialing from Phone Book: Press the PHONEBOOK button (or navigate via MENU), scroll to the desired entry, then press TALK.

Caller ID and Call Log

When a call comes in, the caller's number and name (if available and stored in your phone book) will be displayed. To review past calls, press the CID/V+ or RD/V- buttons in standby mode to scroll through the call log.

Setting the Alarm

Navigate to the "ALARM" option in the menu. Set the desired time and enable the alarm. Refer to the on-screen prompts for detailed steps.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the phone and base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the phone is unplugged before cleaning.

Battery Care

  • Always use the supplied rechargeable AAA batteries.
  • If the phone will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Replace batteries when their performance significantly degrades.
