Introduction

Setup
The Nektar Impact GX Mini is a class-compliant USB device, meaning it does not require special drivers for basic functionality on most operating systems. Connecting to Your Computer or Device
- Locate the Micro USB port on the back of the Impact GX Mini.
- Connect one end of the supplied Micro USB cable to the controller.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer (PC/Mac) or a compatible iOS device (requires Apple Camera Connection Kit, not included).
- The controller will power on automatically via USB bus power.

Operating the Impact GX Mini
25 Velocity-Sensitive Mini Keys
The Impact GX Mini features 25 velocity-sensitive mini keys, allowing for expressive playing. The velocity sensitivity means the volume or intensity of a note changes based on how hard you press the key.

Joystick for Pitch Bend & Modulation
A dedicated joystick provides combined control over pitch bend and modulation. Moving the joystick left or right controls pitch bend, while moving it forward or backward controls modulation, allowing for dynamic expression in your music.

Octave Buttons
The dedicated Octave Up and Down buttons allow you to instantly shift the keyboard's octave range, providing access to the full range of MIDI notes despite the compact keybed.

DAW Integration and Transport Controls
The Impact GX Mini features Nektar DAW integration, offering advanced control over popular Digital Audio Workstations. This includes dedicated transport controls (Play, Stop, Record, Fast Forward, Rewind) and navigation functions.
