1. Introduction

Important Safety Information

  • Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Do not place the humidifier near furniture or electronics that are sensitive to moisture.
  • Use only clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent white dust.
  • Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank as this may damage the unit.
  • Unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your humidifier for the first time:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the 'Components' section are present.
  2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and furniture.
  3. Fill Water Tank:
    • Remove the mist nozzle from the top of the unit.
    • Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank through the top opening. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the tank.
    • Alternatively, you can remove the entire control box and inner cover to fill the tank directly.

  4. Reassemble: Place the inner cover and control box back onto the water tank, ensuring the control box slot is aligned with the inner cover. Reattach the mist nozzle.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the humidifier and then into a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Operation

Your RIMOO KIRI-B Humidifier is equipped with intuitive touch controls for easy operation.

  • Power Button (⏻): Touch once to turn the unit ON/OFF.
  • Mist Level Button (💧): Touch repeatedly to cycle through Low (I), Medium (II), and High (III) mist output settings. Corresponding indicator lights will illuminate.
  • Timer Button (⏱): Touch repeatedly to set the operating timer for 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours. The humidifier will automatically turn off after the selected time.

Adjusting Mist Direction

The mist nozzle can be rotated 360 degrees to direct the mist flow to your desired area. Simply turn the nozzle manually.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and hygiene. The RIMOO KIRI-B Humidifier is designed for easy cleaning with its few washable parts.

Daily Maintenance

  • Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Rinse the water tank and nozzle with fresh water.
  • Wipe down all surfaces with a clean, dry cloth.

Weekly Cleaning

  1. Unplug: Always ensure the humidifier is unplugged before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Remove the mist nozzle, control box, and inner cover. The water tank, inner cover, and oscillator are the primary washable parts.
  3. Clean Water Tank: Fill the water tank with a mixture of 1 teaspoon of white vinegar per gallon of water. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Clean Oscillator: Gently clean the oscillator with a soft brush or cotton swab to remove mineral deposits. Do not use abrasive materials.
  5. Clean Nozzle & Inner Cover: Wash with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  6. Dry: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.

Important Cleaning Cautions

  • DO NOT wash the Control Box with water. It contains electrical components. Wipe it with a dry cloth only.
  • Ensure proper alignment of the control box slot with the inner cover during reassembly.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your humidifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
