2. Setup and Initial Operation

2.1 Initial Winding

As an automatic mechanical watch, the AM127M-C requires initial winding to start. If the watch has stopped, manually wind it by rotating the crown. For optimal accuracy, it is recommended to wear the watch for more than 10 hours daily. If not worn regularly, wind it manually at a fixed time each day.

2.2 Setting Time and Date

The watch features a screw-in crown for enhanced water resistance. Follow these steps to set the time and date:

1. Unscrew the Crown: Rotate the crown counter-clockwise until it is released from the case.
2. Pull to Position II (Time Setting): Gently pull the crown out to the second position. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the desired time. Ensure the AM/PM setting is correct; the day and date change around midnight. If the date changes at noon, advance the time by 12 hours.
3. Push to Position I (Day/Date Setting): Push the crown back in one click to the first position.
4. Set Day: Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the day of the week.
5. Set Date: Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the date.
6. Secure the Crown: Once time, day, and date are set, push the crown back to the zero position and screw it in clockwise until it is tight against the case. This ensures water resistance.

3.1 Automatic Movement

3.2 Day and Date Display

The watch features a day and date display at the 3 o'clock position. The day of the week and the date change automatically every 24 hours. The date typically changes around 12 AM (midnight), and the day of the week changes around 4 AM.

3.3 Water Resistance (20ATM)

The AM127M-C is rated for 20ATM (200 meters / 656 feet) water resistance. This makes it suitable for daily wear, showering, swimming, and even recreational diving. Always ensure the screw-in crown is fully tightened before any water exposure to maintain its water resistance integrity.

4. Maintenance

4.1 General Care
