4. Setup Guide

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the jukebox from its packaging.
  2. Place the unit on a flat, stable, and level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Remove any protective films or packing materials from the unit.

4.2 Connecting Power and Antenna

  1. Connect the power cable to the AC input on the rear of the jukebox.
  2. Plug the power cable into a standard wall outlet.
  3. Connect the FM antenna to the designated FM antenna input on the rear panel for optimal radio reception. Extend the antenna fully.

4.3 Initial Power On

Press the Power button on the front panel or remote control to turn on the unit. The LED lights will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Vinyl Record Player

  1. Gently lift the turntable cover.
  2. Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter.
  3. Select the appropriate speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch.
  4. Lift the tone arm using the cueing lever and position the stylus over the desired track on the record.
  5. Lower the cueing lever to gently place the stylus onto the record. Playback will begin.
  6. The auto-stop function will automatically stop the platter rotation when the record finishes. To stop playback manually, lift the tone arm and return it to its rest.

5.2 Bluetooth Playback

  1. Press the 'Mode' button on the unit or remote control until 'Bluetooth' mode is selected. The display will show 'BT'.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'Arkrocket Taurus II' from the list of devices. Once paired, a confirmation sound will be heard.
  4. You can now play music from your device through the jukebox. Use your device or the jukebox controls for playback (play/pause, skip tracks, volume).

5.3 CD Player Operation

  1. Press the 'Mode' button to select 'CD' mode.
  2. Press the 'Open/Close' button to open the CD tray.
  3. Place a CD (standard audio CD or MP3 CD) into the tray with the label side facing up.
  4. Press the 'Open/Close' button again to close the tray. The unit will read the disc and begin playback automatically or display the number of tracks.
  5. Use the 'Play/Pause', 'Stop', 'Skip Forward', and 'Skip Backward' buttons for control.

5.4 USB/SD Playback and Recording

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot. (Note: Supports up to 32GB, formatted to FAT32).
  2. Press the 'Mode' button to select 'USB' or 'SD' mode. The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files (MP3).
  3. Use the playback controls (play/pause, skip tracks) as needed.
  4. Recording Function: To record audio from Vinyl, CD, or AUX input to USB/SD, ensure the USB drive or SD card is inserted. Select the desired source (Vinyl, CD, AUX). Press the 'Record' button. Press 'Record' again to stop recording.

5.5 FM Radio

  1. Press the 'Mode' button to select 'FM Radio' mode.
  2. Use the 'Tune' buttons to manually tune to a desired station or press and hold to auto-scan for the next available station.

5.6 LED Lighting Control

The jukebox features 7-color shifting LED lighting. Use the dedicated 'Light' button on the unit or remote control to cycle through different lighting modes or turn the lights off.

6. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Stylus Care: Periodically clean the stylus with a soft brush designed for turntable styli. Replace the stylus when sound quality deteriorates.
  • Dust Cover: Keep the turntable dust cover closed when not in use to protect the components.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and cover it to protect from dust.
