1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your Proventa LED TL Fixture 150 cm. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and keep them for future reference. This product is designed for use in damp environments, both indoors and outdoors, with an IP65 rating.

The set includes 8 LED fixtures and 8 corresponding 24W LED tubes, providing neutral white light at 4000K.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Electrical Safety: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations. Always disconnect power before installation, maintenance, or repair.
  • Transport Protection: The LED tubes are equipped with transport protection. This must be removed before inserting the tubes into the fixture and commissioning.

4. Setup and Installation

The Proventa LED TL fixture is suitable for ceiling mounting, wall mounting, or pendant suspension. Ensure the mounting surface is appropriate for the weight of the fixture.

4.1. Preparing the Fixture

  1. Carefully open the fixture housing by releasing the clips on the sides.
  2. Remove the clear cover.
  3. Locate the electrical connection terminals inside the fixture.

4.2. Mounting the Fixture

  1. Mark the desired mounting points on the ceiling or wall. The fixture features a broad guide for variable attachment, allowing for minor adjustments after initial placement.
  2. Drill holes and insert the provided wall plugs.
  3. Attach the metal mounting brackets to the surface using the screws.
  4. Click the fixture housing onto the mounted brackets. The "Klickhalter" (click holders) ensure easy and secure attachment.

4.3. Electrical Connection

  1. Ensure the power supply is disconnected at the main circuit breaker.
  2. Feed the electrical cable through the cable gland on the fixture.
  3. Connect the live (L), neutral (N), and ground wires to the corresponding screw terminals inside the fixture. The practical plug-in terminals facilitate connection.
  4. Tighten the cable gland to ensure a watertight seal (IP65).

4.4. Installing the LED Tube

  1. Remove the transport protection from the LED tube.
  2. Insert the LED tube into the G13 sockets within the fixture. Ensure it is securely seated.
  3. Replace the clear cover and secure the clips to close the fixture housing.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and connected, the Proventa LED TL fixture operates by a standard wall switch (not included). There are no specific operating controls on the fixture itself.

  • Switching On/Off: Use the connected wall switch to turn the light on or off.
  • Light Output: The fixture provides a consistent light output of 2880 lumens at a neutral white color temperature of 4000K.

6. Maintenance

The Proventa LED TL fixture is designed for low maintenance. Regular cleaning and occasional inspection are recommended.

  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the exterior of the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • LED Tube Replacement: The LED tubes have a long lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours. If a tube needs replacement, ensure power is disconnected. Open the fixture, remove the old tube, and insert a new G13 24W LED tube. The fixture housing is designed for many years of use, allowing for easy tube replacement.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the fixture for any signs of damage or wear, especially the cable glands and housing seals, to maintain its IP65 rating.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your Proventa LED TL fixture, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
