1. Introduction

Welcome to CLACK! Thwack!, a fast-paced game designed for 2 to 4 players aged 6 and up. This manual provides instructions for setting up and playing the game, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants. The average playtime is approximately 10 minutes.

CLACK! Thwack! combines dice rolling with quick visual matching and suction cup action. Players race to identify and collect cards that match the rolled dice combination.

2. Components

The CLACK! Thwack! game set includes the following components:

• 4 Suction Cup Thwackers
• 1 Color/Category Die
• 1 Number Die
• Illustrated Game Cards (various designs)
• 1 Bonus Disc (CLACK! THWACK! branded)

3. Setup

1. Prepare the Cards: Shuffle all the illustrated game cards thoroughly.
2. Deal the Cards: Distribute the shuffled cards face-up in a circle or spread them randomly across the playing surface, ensuring they are within reach of all players.
3. Place the Bonus Disc: Place the CLACK! THWACK! bonus disc in the center of the playing area.
4. Distribute Thwackers: Each player takes one suction cup thwacker.
5. Dice Placement: Place the Color/Category die and the Number die near the playing area, accessible to all players.

4. Operating (How to Play)

The game proceeds in rounds, with all players participating simultaneously in each turn.

1. Roll the Dice: One player rolls both the Color/Category die and the Number die.
2. Identify Matches: All players simultaneously look for game cards that match the combination shown on the dice.
   • The Color/Category die indicates either a color (red, green, blue) or a category (animal, tree, vehicle).
   • The Number die indicates how many objects of that color or category must be present on a card.
3. Thwack the Cards: As soon as a player identifies a matching card, they must quickly "thwack" it with their suction cup thwacker. The first player to successfully thwack a matching card collects it.
4. No Matches / Bonus Disc: If no cards on the table match the dice combination, or if players believe there are no more matches, the first player to thwack the central bonus disc collects it. The bonus disc is worth 7 cards at the end of the game.
5. Continue Playing: The game continues with the next player rolling the dice, and players repeating the process of identifying and thwacking cards.

Winning the Game

The game ends when all game cards have been collected. Players then count their collected cards. The player with the most cards (including the 7 points for the bonus disc if collected) wins the game.

• Suction Cup Not Sticking: Ensure the suction cup and the card surface are clean and dry. Press firmly and directly onto the card. Avoid thwacking at an angle.
• Difficulty Identifying Matches: Take a moment to review the dice combination and the card illustrations. Practice helps improve speed and accuracy.
• Disputes Over First Thwack: In cases where two players thwack a card simultaneously, the card is returned to the playing area, and play continues. Clear communication and fair play are encouraged.
