Your CROSSIO ceiling fan is controlled by the included remote control. Ensure the remote has 2 AAA 1.5V batteries installed (not included).

Diagram of the remote control with numbered buttons and their functions.

Figure 2: Remote Control Instruction.

  • Power Button (1): Turns the fan and lights on/off.
  • Light On/Off (2): Turns the lights on/off independently.
  • Fan Speed (3-8): Adjusts fan speed from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
  • Timing Function (9, 10, 13): Set a timer for 1 hour (1H), 2 hours (2H), or 4 hours (4H) for automatic shutdown.
  • Forward/Reverse Function (12): Switches the fan's rotation direction. 'F' is for forward (downward airflow, cooling in summer), 'R' is for reverse (upward airflow, circulating warm air in winter).
  • Natural Wind (14): Activates a mode where fan speed changes automatically to simulate natural wind.

The fan and illumination can be controlled separately. The retractable blades automatically extend when the fan is turned on and retract when turned off, saving space.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.

  • Bulb Replacement: Always turn off power to the fan at the circuit breaker before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool before handling. Replace with E26 base bulbs, maximum 60W each.
  • Tighten Fasteners: Periodically check all screws and fasteners on the fan and mounting hardware to ensure they are secure.
