Setup and Installation
Unboxing and Initial Setup
Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Ensure all protective tapes and packing materials are removed from the exterior and interior of the printer. Connect the power cord to the printer and a wall outlet.
Ink Cartridge Installation
The PIXMA TR4720 is designed for easy ink cartridge installation. Open the front cover to access the cartridge slots. Insert the black (PG-275) and color (CL-276) ink cartridges into their respective slots until they click into place. Close the cover.
Paper Loading
Load paper into the 100-sheet capacity front paper cassette. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size securely.
Wireless Connection
Follow the on-screen instructions on the printer's 2-line LCD display to connect to your wireless network. Alternatively, download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App on your smartphone or tablet for guided setup. The printer supports Wi-Fi connectivity for seamless integration with your devices.

Printing Documents and Photos
The printer supports printing documents and borderless photos up to 8.5" x 11". Print speeds are approximately 8.8 ipm for black and white, and 4.4 ipm for color. Utilize the automatic two-sided printing feature for letter-size documents to save paper.
Copying
Place documents on the flatbed scanner or use the 20-sheet auto document feeder (ADF) for multi-page copying. Select the copy function from the printer's control panel and adjust settings as needed.
Scanning
Scan documents and images using the flatbed scanner or the ADF. Scanned files can be saved to your computer or mobile device via the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App.
Faxing
