1. Important Safety Information
Please read and understand all instructions before beginning installation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or personal injury.
- Electrical Safety: Always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before installing, cleaning, or servicing the fan. Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes and ordinances. If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
- Mounting: The outlet box and support structure must be securely mounted and capable of supporting a minimum of 35 lbs (15.9 kg). Use only UL listed outlet boxes marked "Acceptable for Fan Support."
- Blade Clearance: Ensure there is adequate clearance from the fan blades to any obstacles. The caged design provides protection, but caution is still advised.
- Bulb Requirements: Use E12 base bulbs, maximum 40 watts each. Do not exceed the recommended wattage. Bulbs are not included.
- Remote Control: The remote control requires batteries (not included). Ensure correct battery polarity when inserting.

4. Installation Instructions
Installation typically takes 15-30 minutes. It is recommended to have two people for installation.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the ceiling fan location is turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Mounting Bracket Installation: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling outlet box. Ensure the outlet box is rated for fan support.
- Downrod Assembly: Choose the desired downrod (3.9-inch or 7.8-inch). Feed the electrical wires from the fan motor through the downrod. Secure the downrod to the fan motor assembly.
- Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it from the mounting bracket.
- Wiring Connections: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram provided in the detailed manual (typically black to black, white to white, ground to ground). Use the provided wire nuts.
- Secure Canopy: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with the provided screws.
- Install Bulbs: Insert four E12 base bulbs (max 40W each) into the light sockets.
- Restore Power: Once all connections are secure and the fan is properly mounted, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Image: This diagram illustrates the fan's dimensions (17.7 inches wide, 7.09 inches high) and its capability for angled ceiling mounts up to 22 degrees. It also shows the two included downrod lengths: 3.9 inches and 7.8 inches.

Image: This visual guide demonstrates both the standard downrod mount and the angled mount option, suitable for sloped ceilings up to 22 degrees. The two downrod lengths (3.9" and 7.9") are also indicated.
5. Operating Instructions
The MOOONICHE ceiling fan is operated using the included remote control.
Remote Control Functions:
- Fan ON/OFF: Press the 'FAN ON/OFF' button to turn the fan on or off.
- Fan Speed: Buttons '1' through '6' control the fan speed, from lowest (1) to highest (6).
- Natural Wind: Press the wave icon button for a natural wind simulation mode.
- Light ON/OFF: Press the 'LIGHT ON/OFF' button to turn the lights on or off.
- Timing Function: Buttons '1H', '2H', '4H' set the fan to automatically turn off after 1, 2, or 4 hours, respectively.
- Forward/Reverse Mode: The 'F' button activates forward mode (cooling airflow), and the 'R' button activates reverse mode (pushes warm air down).

Image: This illustration demonstrates the fan's reversible function. In summer, the fan operates in forward mode to create a cooling airflow. In winter, it operates in reverse mode to circulate warm air downwards, improving heat distribution.

Image: This image displays the remote control, highlighting its various buttons for fan speed, light control, timing, and forward/reverse functions, allowing convenient operation from anywhere in the room.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: To clean the fan, wipe the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. Ensure power is off before cleaning.
- Bulb Replacement: To replace bulbs, ensure power is off at the circuit breaker. Unscrew the old E12 bulb and screw in a new one (max 40 watts).
- Tighten Fasteners: Periodically check and tighten all screws and fasteners on the fan and mounting hardware.
7. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Fan Does Not Start:
- Check that the circuit breaker is on.
- Ensure all wire connections are secure.
- Verify remote control batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
- Lights Do Not Work:
- Check that the light switch on the remote is pressed.
- Ensure bulbs are screwed in tightly and are not burnt out.
- Verify wire connections to the light kit.
- Fan Makes Noise:
- Ensure all screws on the motor housing and mounting bracket are tight.
- Check that the canopy is securely fastened.
- Confirm that the fan is not touching any other objects.
- Remote Control Not Responding:
- Replace remote control batteries.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fan receiver.
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, please contact MOOONICHE customer support.
