1. Introduction

2. Watch Components and Button Functions
Familiarize yourself with the watch's buttons and display elements:
- MODE Button: Cycles through different operational modes (Time, Chronograph, Dual Time, Alarm).

- ST/STP Button: Starts and stops the chronograph, or adjusts settings.

3. Initial Setup: Setting Time and Date
Follow these steps to set the current time and date on your watch:
- From the Time Mode display, press the MODE button three times to enter the Time Setting mode. The seconds digits will begin to flash.
- Press the RESET button to reset the seconds to zero.
- Press the ST/STP button to advance to the hour setting. The hour digits will flash.
- Press the RESET button to adjust the hour. Note the AM/PM indicator for 12-hour format.
- Press the ST/STP button to advance to the minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
- Press the RESET button to adjust the minutes.
- Continue pressing the ST/STP button to cycle through year, month, and day settings. Use the RESET button to adjust each value as needed.
- Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button to exit the Time Setting mode and return to the normal Time display.
4. Operating Modes
Your watch features several operational modes:
4.1. Time Mode
This is the default display mode, showing the current time, day of the week, and date.
4.2. Chronograph Mode
The chronograph functions as a stopwatch to measure elapsed time.
- Press the MODE button once from Time Mode to enter Chronograph Mode. The display will show '00:00:00'.
- Press the ST/STP button to start the chronograph.
- Press the ST/STP button again to stop the chronograph.
- Press the RESET button to clear the chronograph to '00:00:00'.
- To return to Time Mode, press the MODE button.
4.3. Dual Time Mode
This feature allows you to track a second time zone.
- Press the MODE button twice from Time Mode to enter Dual Time Mode.
- To set the dual time, press and hold the RESET button until the hour digits flash.
- Use the ST/STP button to adjust the hour.
- Press the MODE button to advance to the minute setting.
- Use the ST/STP button to adjust the minutes.
- Press the RESET button to save the dual time and exit setting mode.
- To return to Time Mode, press the MODE button.
4.4. Alarm Mode
Set an alarm to sound at a specific time.
- Press the MODE button four times from Time Mode to enter Alarm Mode. The alarm time will be displayed.
- Press and hold the RESET button until the hour digits flash.
- Use the ST/STP button to adjust the hour.
- Press the MODE button to advance to the minute setting.
- Use the ST/STP button to adjust the minutes.
- Press the RESET button to save the alarm time.
- To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the ST/STP button while in Alarm Mode. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
- To return to Time Mode, press the MODE button.
4.5. Backlight
Press the EL button at any time to illuminate the display for a few seconds.
5. Water Resistance
Your Armitron Sport watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating means the watch is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but it is not designed for scuba diving. Avoid pressing buttons while the watch is submerged to prevent water entry.

6. Maintenance and Care
6.1. Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the resin case and strap.
