3. Care and Maintenance

3.1. Cleaning Your Watch

Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish and seals.

3.2. Water Resistance

This Fastrack watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any water sports where it might be subjected to high water pressure or prolonged immersion. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

3.3. Battery Replacement

When the watch battery runs low, the digital display may dim or the analog hands may stop. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician or an authorized Fastrack service center to ensure proper sealing and functionality.

4. Troubleshooting

  • Analog Hands Not Moving: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery for the analog movement may need replacement.
  • Digital Display Blank or Dim: This usually indicates a low or depleted battery for the digital module. Seek professional battery replacement.
  • Incorrect Time Display (Digital): Re-enter the time setting mode and adjust the time and date as described in Section 1.2.
  • Buttons Not Responding: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, refer to specific model features). If issues persist, a reset (if available) or professional inspection may be required.
