4. Setup and Installation
The W3230 temperature controller is designed for easy integration into various systems. Ensure the power supply matches the controller's voltage (AC110-220V for this model). Proper wiring is crucial for safe and effective operation.
4.1 Wiring Diagram (General)
Connect the power supply to the designated input terminals. The output relay terminals should be connected to the device you wish to control (e.g., heater, cooler, fan). The temperature sensor probe should be placed in the environment where temperature measurement is required.
- Power Input: Connect AC110-220V to the power terminals.
- Load Output: Connect your heating or cooling device to the relay output terminals. The relay acts as a switch.
- Sensor Input: Connect the NTC temperature sensor to the sensor input terminals.

Important: Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits and electrical hazards. If you are unsure about wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
5. Operating Instructions
The W3230 features a simple interface for setting and monitoring temperature.
5.1 Display Overview
- PV (Process Value): Displays the current measured temperature.
- SV (Set Value): Displays the target temperature setting.
- OUT Indicator: Illuminates when the relay output is active (heating or cooling).
5.2 Basic Temperature Setting
- Short press "SET" button: The SV (Set Value) display will flash.
- Use the "Up" (▲) and "Down" (▼) buttons to adjust the desired target temperature.
- Short press "SET" again or wait for 3 seconds without any operation to save the setting and exit.
6. Advanced Programming Guide
To access advanced settings, long press the "SET" button for 3 seconds. This will enter the programming mode, indicated by a code (e.g., P0, P1) on the PV display.
6.1 Parameter Codes and Functions
| Code | Function | Set Range | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| P0 | Heat/Cool Mode | H/C | C (Cooling) |
| P1 | Return Difference (Hysteresis) | 0.1℃ - 30℃ | 2℃ |
| P2 | Set Upper Limit | -55℃ - 120℃ | 120℃ |
| P3 | Set Lower Limit | -55℃ - 120℃ | -55℃ |
| P4 | Calibration | -7.0℃ - 7.0℃ | 0℃ |
| P5 | Delayed Start Time | 0 - 10 minutes | 0 minutes |
| P6 | Alarm Temperature | -55℃ - 120℃ | OFF |
| P7 | Data Lock | ON/OFF | OFF |
| P8 | Factory Reset | ON/OFF | OFF |
How to Set Parameters:
- Long press "SET" for 3 seconds to enter programming mode. The PV display will show "P0".
- Use the "Up" (▲) and "Down" (▼) buttons to navigate through the parameter codes (P0-P8).
