Setup

1. Charging the Battery

The 12V 1.5AH Lithium-ion battery powers your drill. Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged. Connect the charger to the drill's charging port. The battery indicator lights on the drill will show the charging status.

2. Inserting/Changing Drill Bits

The drill features a 3/8 inch (10mm) keyless chuck for quick bit replacement. To insert a bit:

1. Rotate the chuck body counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws.
2. Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck.
3. Rotate the chuck body clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and firmly held.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Torque Settings

The drill features a 19-position clutch that adjusts torque output. This allows you to control the depth of the screw or fastener, preventing overtightening or stripping. Rotate the numbered ring near the chuck to select the desired torque setting. Lower numbers are for lighter tasks and softer materials, while higher numbers are for heavier tasks and harder materials.

2. Variable 2-Speed Settings

The drill offers two speed settings for versatility:

• Speed 1 (0-400 RPM): Ideal for screwdriving and tasks requiring more torque and less speed.
• Speed 2 (0-1500 RPM): Suitable for drilling and tasks requiring higher speed.

Use the gear selector switch located on top of the drill to switch between these speeds.

3. Forward/Reverse Rotation Control

A switch above the trigger allows you to select forward or reverse rotation, or to lock the trigger for safety. Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (for drilling and driving screws) and to the right for reverse rotation (for removing screws).

4. Work Light

The built-in LED light illuminates your work area, improving visibility in dimly lit spaces. It activates automatically when the trigger is pressed.

5. Using Hand Tools

Troubleshooting

Issue: Visible sparks inside the drill during operation.

Solution: This is a carbon brushes drill. It is normal for the brushes to produce sparks from the electromagnetic charge, which are clearly visible inside the drill. This is not a defect and does not indicate a malfunction.

Drill Not Operating

Issue: The drill does not turn on or operate.

Solution:

• Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted into the drill.
• Check the forward/reverse rotation control switch. It might be in the locked (middle) position. Move it to either the forward or reverse position.
