2. Key Features
- 7 Modes Display Monitor: Equipped with a digital color LED display screen, switchable between 7 display modes (VA, C, P, VA+C, VA+P, C+P, VA+C+P) to clearly see voltage, current, capacity, and power during charging.
- Dual USB Output: Features USB-A input and dual USB 2.0 output ports. Supports PD QC 3.0 fast charge protocol and auto-identifies fast charge protocols (3.6V to 12V 3A). Output I supports both device charging and data transfer, while Output II is for charging only.
- Multifunctionality: Capable of capacity checking, capacity clearing, and includes alarms for over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit conditions.
- Easy to Use: Operates with a single button for switching between display modes. Simply plug in to test parameters.
- Wide Application: Suitable for devices between 3.2-30V and 0-5A, including solar panels (5V, 9V, 12V, 24V, 30V), power banks, battery chargers, and USB cables.
3. Setup
Setting up your DROK USB Tester is straightforward. Follow these steps to begin monitoring your USB devices:
- Locate the USB-A input plug on the short cable of the DROK USB Tester.
- Plug the USB-A input plug into the USB power source you wish to test (e.g., wall charger, power bank, computer USB port).
- Connect your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, camera) to either Output I or Output II port on the DROK USB Tester using its charging cable.
- The LED display on the tester will illuminate, showing the current voltage and amperage readings.

4. Operating Instructions
The DROK USB Tester offers various display modes and dual output functionality for comprehensive testing.
4.1. Display Modes
The tester features a single button on its top surface to cycle through 7 different display modes. Short press the button to switch between modes:
- VA (Voltage & Current): Displays real-time voltage (V) and current (A).
- C (Capacity): Shows accumulated charge capacity in mAh.
- P (Power): Displays real-time power consumption in Watts (W).
- VA+C: Alternates between Voltage/Current and Capacity.
- VA+P: Alternates between Voltage/Current and Power.
- C+P: Alternates between Capacity and Power.
- VA+C+P: Cycles through Voltage/Current, Capacity, and Power.

4.2. Dual USB Output Ports
The DROK USB Tester features two distinct output ports:
- Output I (Dual Function): This port supports both device charging and data transfer. It is suitable for connecting devices that require data communication with the power source, such as syncing a smartphone with a computer while charging.
- Output II (Charging Only): This port is designed exclusively for device charging. It incorporates an intelligent charging control IC that automatically matches the most appropriate and safest current for your devices. This port is particularly useful for non-original chargers or public charging stations where data transfer is not desired or could pose a security risk.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and accurate performance of your DROK USB Tester, please follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the device. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these can damage the display or casing.
- Storage: Store the tester in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Keep it away from dust and corrosive substances.
- Handling: Handle the device with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts, which can damage internal components or the display.
- Cable Care: Do not excessively bend or pull the integrated USB cable, as this can lead to internal wire damage.
7. Troubleshooting
The DROK USB Tester is designed with built-in alarm functions to alert you to potential issues. Familiarize yourself with these indicators:
- Over-voltage Alarm: When the input voltage is ≥ 5.6V, the voltage digital point will flash quickly. This indicates a potentially harmful voltage level for your connected device.
- Lacking-voltage Alarm: When the input voltage is ≤ 4.4V, the decimal point of the voltage is flashing very slowly. This indicates insufficient voltage for proper charging.
- Over-current Alarm: When the current is ≥ 3A, the current digital point will flash quickly. This suggests that the device is drawing too much current, which could be dangerous.
- Short-circuit Alarm: When a short circuit occurs, the current digital point will flash very quickly. Immediately disconnect the device and power source if this occurs.
If the display does not light up or shows erratic readings, ensure the USB connections are secure and the power source is functioning correctly. Try testing with a different known-good power source and USB cable.
