4. Setup

1. Connect the Keyboard: Plug the attached USB cable from the EVGA Z12 keyboard into an available USB-A port on your PC.
2. Driver Installation: The keyboard is plug-and-play for basic functionality. For advanced customization, including macro programming and RGB lighting effects, download and install the EVGA UNLEASH RGB software from the official EVGA website.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Keyboard Functions

The EVGA Z12 features a standard full-size keyboard layout. All keys function as expected for typing and general computer use.

5.2 Macro Key Programming

The keyboard includes five dedicated and programmable Macro 'E' keys (E1-E5) located on the left side. These keys can be customized to perform complex sequences of commands or launch applications using the EVGA UNLEASH RGB software.

1. Install the EVGA UNLEASH RGB software.
2. Open the software and navigate to the macro programming section.
3. Select the desired 'E' key (E1-E5) you wish to program.
4. Record your desired key presses, delays, or assign application launches.
5. Save your macro profile.

5.3 RGB Lighting Control

The EVGA Z12 features 5-zone RGB lighting with various effects. Customization is primarily done through the EVGA UNLEASH RGB software.

• Software Control: Use the EVGA UNLEASH RGB software to select from 5 preset lighting effects (Breath, Wave, Pulse, Static, Trigger) and customize colors for each of the five zones.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Spill Resistance

The EVGA Z12 keyboard is IP32-rated for spill resistance. This means it is protected against accidental splashes of water. In case of a spill:
