Operating Instructions

  1. Optimal Microphone Placement: For best results with the MV7X's voice isolation technology, position the microphone close to the sound source (e.g., your mouth for vocals or podcasting). A distance of 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) is generally recommended.
  2. Monitor Your Audio: If your audio interface has a headphone output, connect headphones to monitor your sound in real-time. This helps in adjusting your speaking/singing volume and microphone gain.
  3. Recording: Begin recording in your chosen audio software. The MV7X is designed to capture clear, balanced audio, minimizing ambient noise.
  4. Multi-Microphone Setup: For podcasts or recordings with multiple speakers, ensure each MV7X microphone is positioned optimally for its respective speaker to leverage the voice isolation feature effectively.
