2. Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before using this appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, personal injury, or death.
- Always place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances, to allow for proper air circulation.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Always use oven mitts when handling hot components.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the main unit in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

4. Initial Setup
Before first use, follow these steps:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels or stickers from the appliance.
- Clean Components: Wash the grill plate, air fry basket, and removable mesh shield in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The air fry basket is dishwasher safe.
- Wipe Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Placement: Place the appliance on a clean, dry, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space (at least 6 inches) around the unit for proper air circulation.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
Your Chefman Air Fryer + Electric Indoor Grill offers five primary cooking functions: Grill, Air Fry, Roast, Bake, and Cook. The control panel allows for easy selection and adjustment of settings.
5.1 General Operation
- Power On: Plug in the unit. The display will illuminate.
- Select Function: Press the desired function button (Grill, Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Cook) on the control panel.
- Adjust Settings: Use the temperature (+/-) and time (+/-) buttons to set your desired cooking parameters.
- Start Cooking: Press the START/STOP button to begin the cooking cycle.
- Pause/Stop: Press the START/STOP button to pause or stop cooking. To fully turn off the unit, unplug it from the wall outlet.

5.2 Grilling
Achieve authentic grill marks and flavor indoors.
- Insert the grill plate into the main unit.
- Select the "Grill" function. The unit heats up to 500°F.
- Preheat the grill according to recipe or until desired temperature is reached.
- Place food on the grill plate. The unit may provide a "turn food" indicator.
- Monitor cooking progress. For precise internal temperature, use the integrated probe.

5.3 Air Frying
Enjoy crispy, golden results with little to no added oil.
- Insert the air fry basket into the main unit.
- Place food in the air fry basket, ensuring not to overcrowd for optimal crisping.
- Select the "Air Fry" function and set desired temperature and time.
- Shake or flip food halfway through cooking for even results.

5.4 Roasting, Baking, and General Cooking
These functions allow for versatile cooking beyond grilling and air frying.
- Use the appropriate cooking vessel (e.g., oven-safe pan) inside the unit, placed on the grill plate or directly in the main cavity if suitable.
- Select "Roast", "Bake", or "Cook" function.
- Adjust temperature and time as needed for your recipe.
5.5 Using the Integrated Temperature Probe
The removable integrated temperature probe ensures your food is cooked to the perfect internal temperature, eliminating the need to cut into food to check for doneness.
- Insert the probe into the thickest part of the food, avoiding bone or gristle.
- Plug the probe's connector into the designated port on the side of the main unit.
- The control panel will display the current internal temperature of the food.
- You can set a target temperature, and the unit will alert you when it's reached. The probe works with all five cooking functions.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your appliance.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
- Removable Parts: The grill plate, air fry basket, and removable mesh shield are non-stick and can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. The air fry basket is also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Temperature Probe: Wipe the probe with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the probe or its connector in water.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
