4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the alarm clock.
- Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: The clock requires 2 AAA batteries, which are not included in the package.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Setting Time and Date
- Press the MODE / SET button repeatedly until the time display starts flashing or you enter the time setting mode.
- Use the ADJ / UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE / SET again to confirm the hour and move to setting the minutes.
- Use the ADJ / UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Continue pressing MODE / SET to cycle through setting the year, month, and day, adjusting each with the ADJ / UP or DOWN buttons.
- Once all settings are complete, press MODE / SET to exit the setting mode.
5.2 Setting the Alarm
- Press the MODE / SET button until the alarm time is displayed or you enter alarm setting mode. An alarm icon may flash.
- Use the ADJ / UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press MODE / SET to confirm the hour and move to setting the alarm minutes.
- Use the ADJ / UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Press MODE / SET to exit alarm setting mode.
- To activate or deactivate the alarm, use the dedicated ALARM ON/OFF button or toggle switch. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.
5.3 Snooze Function and Backlight
- When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE / LIGHT button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (snooze duration may vary by model).
- To illuminate the display backlight, press the SNOOZE / LIGHT button. The backlight will typically stay on for a few seconds.
5.4 Temperature Unit Selection
Some models allow switching between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature display. Look for a dedicated button (e.g., "°C/°F") or a combination of existing buttons (e.g., pressing DOWN in normal display mode) to toggle the unit.
