6. Battery and Charging

The HANMATEK LV12D is powered by two 2600MA lithium batteries, providing extended operation time. Ensure batteries are properly charged before use.

6.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the device.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert the two 2600MA lithium batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

6.2. Charging the Batteries

Use the provided adapter to charge the batteries. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

  1. Connect the charging adapter to the USB charging port on the device or directly to the battery charger (if provided separately).
  2. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  3. The charging indicator will illuminate to show charging in progress.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the adapter.

7. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup of your laser level.

  1. Placement: Place the laser level on a stable, level surface or mount it using one of the supported methods (see Section 9).
  2. Power On: Slide the On/Off switch to the 'ON' position. The laser lines will activate.
  3. Self-Leveling: In self-leveling mode, the device will automatically level itself within its specified range (±4°). If the tilt exceeds this range, an audible alarm will sound, and the laser lines will flash. Adjust the device's position until it levels itself.
  4. Mode Selection: Use the keypad or remote control to select the desired operating mode (see Section 8).
