This manual provides detailed instructions for the JJC 3-in-1 Wireless Flash Trigger and Shutter Remote Control kit. This versatile system allows for wireless control of studio flashes, external speedlights, and camera shutters. It operates on a 433MHz frequency, offering 16 channels and an operating range of up to 30 meters (100 feet). 3.1. Transmitter

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

Note: For optimal performance, use fresh alkaline batteries. Rechargeable NiMH/NiCD batteries may experience reduced range or intermittent firing if not fully charged or if they have sat for a period of time.

4.2. Channel Setting

Both the transmitter and all receivers must be set to the same channel for proper communication. Use the small switches within the battery compartment of both the transmitter and receivers to select one of the 16 available channels. Ensure the switch positions match on all units.

The JJC 3-in-1 kit can function as a wireless flash trigger or a remote shutter release.

5.1. Wireless Flash Trigger

This mode allows you to wirelessly trigger external flash units or studio lights.

  1. Mount the transmitter onto your camera's hot shoe.
  2. Mount your flash unit(s) onto the receiver(s)' hot shoe socket(s) or connect studio lights via cable.
  3. Set the mode switch on the receiver(s) to "Flash".
  4. Ensure the transmitter and all receivers are set to the same channel.
  5. Press the test button on the transmitter to fire the connected flash units. The maximum sync speed is 1/250s.

5.2. Shutter Release Remote Control

This mode allows you to remotely trigger your camera's shutter.

  1. Connect one receiver to your camera's remote control port using the appropriate shutter cable.
  2. Set the mode switch on this receiver to "Camera".
  3. Ensure the transmitter and the receiver are set to the same channel.
  4. Press the shutter release button on the transmitter to trigger your camera's shutter. A half-press will activate autofocus, and a full press will take a photo.

This wireless flash trigger is compatible with a wide range of cameras and flash units. It is designed for use with Sony cameras that have a multi-connector port for shutter release. For flash triggering, it supports all flashes with a standard hot shoe.

Note: This kit does not transmit TTL (Through The Lens) settings. Manual control of your flash or light unit is required for proper exposure.
