1. Product Overview

4. Installation Instructions

Installation typically requires two people. Ensure your truck bed rails are clean and free of debris before starting.

4.1. Prepare the Truck Bed

1. Clean the top surfaces of your truck bed rails thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of any weather seals and secure clamping.
2. If your truck has bed rail caps, ensure they are properly seated and not interfering with the tonneau cover's fit.

4.2. Position the Front Panel

1. With the cover folded, carefully place the front panel (the section closest to the cab) onto the front bulkhead of the truck bed.
2. Center the cover side-to-side and ensure the front edge is flush with the bulkhead.

4.3. Secure with Clamps

1. Locate the front clamps attached to the cover's side rails.
2. Hook the clamp onto the underside of the truck bed rail.
3. Tighten the clamp knob until the cover is firmly secured to the bed rail. Do not overtighten. Repeat for all front clamps.

4.4. Unfold and Secure Rear Panel

1. Carefully unfold the tonneau cover towards the tailgate, allowing each panel to lay flat.
2. Once fully extended, locate the rear latches on the underside of the last panel.
3. Engage the latches by pushing them down or pulling them into position, securing the cover to the truck bed rails near the tailgate. Ensure both sides are latched.

4.5. Install Drain Tubes (if applicable)

1. If your cover includes drain tubes, attach them to the designated ports on the front of the cover's rails.
2. Route the drain tubes through the truck bed's stake pockets or other suitable openings to direct water out of the bed.

4.6. Final Check

1. Ensure all clamps are tight and the cover is evenly aligned on the truck bed.
2. Check that the tailgate can close properly with the cover installed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Opening the Tonneau Cover

1. To open the cover, release the rear latches located on the underside of the last panel.
2. Fold the rear panel forward towards the cab.
3. Continue folding the panels until the cover is fully stacked against the cab.
4. Secure the folded cover using the integrated straps and buckles to prevent it from unfolding during transit.

5.2. Closing the Tonneau Cover

1. Release the securing straps.
2. Carefully unfold the panels one by one towards the tailgate.
3. Ensure each panel lays flat and aligns correctly with the bed rails.
4. Once fully extended, engage the rear latches to secure the cover.
