2. Safety Instructions
- Power Source: Only use the provided power adapter. Ensure the voltage matches the requirements specified on the device.
- Water and Moisture: Do not expose the device to rain, moisture, or dripping/splashing liquids. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the device.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Heat: Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing appliances.

4. Product Overview
The Dual CR 400 is a versatile smart stereo radio offering FM, DAB+, Internet Radio, Bluetooth, and USB playback capabilities. It features a clear TFT color display and can be operated via the unit's controls or the included remote control.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Connect the provided power adapter to the 'DC IN' port on the rear of the radio.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- The radio will power on or enter standby mode.
5.2 Antenna
For optimal FM and DAB+ reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located at the rear of the unit.
5.3 Initial Setup and Network Connection
Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through an initial setup process:
- Language Selection: Use the navigation controls (rotary knob or remote) to select your preferred language and confirm.
- Network Configuration: The radio will prompt you to connect to a Wi-Fi network for Internet Radio functionality.
- Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard and navigation controls.
- Confirm the connection. The radio will indicate when it is successfully connected to the network.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Controls
- Power Button: Turns the unit on/off or puts it into standby.
- Mode Button: Cycles through available modes (FM, DAB+, Internet Radio, Bluetooth, USB).
- Rotary Knob (Navigate/Volume/OK): Rotate to navigate menus or adjust volume. Press to confirm selections.
- Menu Button: Accesses the menu for the current mode.
- Back Button: Returns to the previous screen or menu.
6.2 FM Radio
- Press the Mode button until 'FM' is selected.
- The radio will automatically scan for available FM stations or tune to the last played station.
- Use the navigation buttons or rotary knob to manually tune or scan for stations.
- To save a station as a preset, press and hold the 'FAV' button on the remote or follow the on-screen instructions.
6.3 DAB+ Radio
- Press the Mode button until 'DAB+' is selected.
- The radio will perform a full scan for DAB+ stations upon first use or if no stations are found.
- Use the navigation controls to browse the list of available DAB+ stations.
- Press the OK button to select and listen to a station.
6.4 Internet Radio
Ensure the radio is connected to a Wi-Fi network (see Section 5.3).
- Press the Mode button until 'Internet Radio' is selected.
- You can browse stations by location, genre, or search for specific stations.
- Use the navigation controls to select your desired station.
- Press OK to start playback.
6.5 Bluetooth Playback
- Press the Mode button until 'Bluetooth' is selected. The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated on the display.
- On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'Dual CR 400' from the list of devices.
- Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the radio.
6.6 USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the USB port on the rear of the radio.
- Press the Mode button until 'USB' is selected.
- The radio will scan the USB drive and display the available audio files.
- Use the navigation controls to select and play your desired tracks.
6.7 Clock, Date, and Alarm Functions
The Dual CR 400 includes a clock, date display, and alarm functions. These can typically be configured via the 'Menu' button in any mode, navigating to 'System Settings' or 'Alarm Settings'. Follow the on-screen prompts to set the time, date, and up to two alarms with customizable sources (e.g., buzzer, FM, DAB+, Internet Radio).
6.8 Spotify Connect
If you have a Spotify Premium account, you can use Spotify Connect to stream music directly to your Dual CR 400. Ensure your radio and the device running the Spotify app are on the same Wi-Fi network. Open the Spotify app, play a song, and select the Dual CR 400 from the 'Devices Available' list.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
To clean the unit, first unplug it from the power outlet. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
7.2 Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power source and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
