2. Product Overview

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
- Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all parts are present.
- Wash the water tank, portafilter, filter baskets, and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank

- Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level indicator.
- Place the water tank back securely into its position.
3.3 First Use / Priming the Machine
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Plug the machine into a power outlet and press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Place a cup under the portafilter (without coffee).
- Press the brew button to run water through the system until water flows out. This primes the pump and heats the water.
- Turn the steam knob to release steam for a few seconds, then close it. This primes the steam system.
- Repeat the brewing cycle once or twice with water only to clean the internal components.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Making Espresso

- Ensure the machine is powered on and the temperature gauge indicates optimal brewing temperature (around 93°C).
- Insert the desired filter basket (single or double shot) into the portafilter.
- Add finely ground coffee to the filter basket. For capsules, use the dedicated capsule handle.
- Tamp the coffee grounds evenly with a tamper (not included) if using ground coffee.
- Attach the portafilter to the group head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right.
- Place your espresso cup(s) on the drip tray beneath the portafilter.
- Press the brew button. The machine will start extracting espresso.
- Manually stop the brewing process by pressing the brew button again once the desired volume is reached.
- Carefully remove the portafilter and discard the used coffee grounds/capsule.
4.2 Frothing Milk for Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato

- Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy). Do not fill more than halfway.
- Press the steam button on the control panel. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.
- Position the steam wand just below the surface of the milk.
- Turn the steam knob to release steam. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam.
- Once the desired texture and temperature are achieved, turn off the steam knob and press the steam button to deactivate.
- Wipe the steam wand immediately with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your espresso machine.
5.1 Daily Cleaning

- Drip Tray: Empty and clean the removable drip tray after each use. It is dishwasher-safe.
- Portafilter and Filter Baskets: Rinse thoroughly after each use to remove coffee grounds.
- Steam Wand: Always wipe clean immediately after frothing milk. Run a short burst of steam to clear any internal milk residue.
- Exterior: Wipe the machine's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
5.2 Descaling
Depending on water hardness, descaling should be performed every 2-3 months to prevent mineral buildup.
- Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions.
- Fill the water tank with the descaling solution.
- Place a large container under the portafilter and steam wand.
- Run half of the solution through the brew head by pressing the brew button.
- Run the remaining half of the solution through the steam wand.
- After descaling, rinse the water tank and fill it with fresh water.
- Run several full tanks of fresh water through both the brew head and steam wand to thoroughly rinse the machine.
6. Troubleshooting
