1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Nuoenx Wireless Backup Camera System. Designed for RVs, trailers, trucks, and other large vehicles, this system offers enhanced visibility and safety during reversing and continuous monitoring.

2. Product Features

• Stable HD 1080P Image: The 7-inch TFT-LCD monitor utilizes 2.4G wireless digital transmission, providing high-definition images for reversing or continuous monitoring without interference from other wireless signals.
• Waterproof Rearview Camera: Features an IP68K waterproof standard, a 152° wide viewing angle, a high-resolution sensor, and a 6-glass lens for clear and smooth image quality. It operates reliably in temperatures from -4°F to 176°F and supports 12V-24V voltage.
• Wireless System & Easy Installation: Digital wireless transmission simplifies installation. The monitor can be powered via the included cigarette lighter, fuse box, ACC, or ignition switch. The camera connects to a continuous power source (e.g., tail light, running light, license plate light) for monitoring, or to the backup light for reversing only.
• Long Signal Transmission Distance: Offers a maximum wireless working range of over 300ft in open areas, 50ft on vehicles for reversing, and 36ft on vehicles for continuous use, suitable for various vehicles including cars, trucks, pickups, campers, SUVs, trailers, and minivans. The suction cup mount allows flexible monitor placement on the windshield or dashboard.
• IR Night Vision & Split Screen: Provides excellent night vision with a 0.01 lumen rating for low-light conditions, enabling up to 60 feet of vision in dark environments. The system supports up to two cameras (second camera sold separately) with a "C" button to switch between individual camera views or a split-screen display.

4. Setup and Installation

The Nuoenx Wireless Backup Camera System is designed for straightforward installation. Follow these steps for optimal performance.

4.1 Camera Installation

1. Mounting Location: Choose a suitable location at the rear of your vehicle for the camera. Ensure a clear line of sight and protection from direct impact. The camera can be mounted using the fixed bracket.
2. Power Connection:
   • For continuous monitoring (e.g., while driving), connect the camera's power cable (red wire to positive, black wire to ground) to a continuous power source such as the tail lights, running lights, or license plate light.
   • For reversing-only functionality, connect the camera's power cable to the vehicle's reverse light circuit. This will activate the camera only when the vehicle is in reverse.
3. Antenna Attachment: Securely screw the antenna onto the camera unit.

4.2 Monitor Installation

1. Mounting Options:
   • Suction Cup Mount: Attach the suction cup mount to a clean, smooth surface on your windshield. Ensure it is securely fastened before attaching the monitor.
   • Dashboard Mount: Use the fixed bracket to mount the monitor securely on your dashboard. This may require drilling small holes for screws.
2. Power Connection: Connect the monitor to the vehicle's power supply using the included cigarette lighter adapter. Alternatively, it can be hardwired to the fuse box, ACC, or ignition switch for a more permanent installation.
3. Antenna Attachment: Securely screw the antenna onto the monitor unit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Once the monitor is connected to power, it will automatically turn on when the camera receives power (e.g., when the vehicle is in reverse or the continuous power source is active). To manually power on/off, use the power button on the monitor.

5.2 Adjusting Settings

The monitor features several buttons for adjusting display settings:

• Brightness/Contrast: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust screen brightness and contrast.
• Mode (M): Press the 'M' button to cycle through different display modes or access the menu.
• Split Screen (C): If a second camera is connected, press the 'C' button to switch between single camera view (CAM1 or CAM2) and split-screen view (both cameras).
• Image Flip (S): Use the 'S' button to flip the image horizontally (mirror view for rear, facing view for front) or vertically (inverted).

5.3 Night Vision

The camera is equipped with IR night vision, providing clear visibility in low-light conditions. The system automatically adjusts to night mode when ambient light is insufficient.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens and monitor screen with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch surfaces.
• Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cables and connections for signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Ensure connections remain secure.
• Mounting Security: Verify that the camera and monitor mounts are still secure, especially after driving on rough terrain or in extreme weather conditions.
• Weather Resistance: The camera is IP68K waterproof, designed to withstand harsh weather. However, extreme temperatures outside the -4°F to 176°F range should be avoided if possible.
