4. Safety Information
- Read all instructions carefully before use.
- Keep the feeder away from children and pets when not in use or during assembly.
- Use only dry pet food. Do not use wet, canned, or moist pet food.
- Ensure the kibble size does not exceed 0.47 inches (12mm) to prevent jamming. Recommended kibble size is 5-16mm.
- Do not immerse the main unit in water. Only removable parts are washable.
- Use the provided 5V DC power adapter.
- If using batteries, ensure they are alkaline D-cell batteries and inserted with correct polarity. Remove batteries if the feeder will not be used for an extended period.
- Place the feeder on a stable, level surface.

5. Setup Guide
5.1 Assembly
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
- Install Bowls: Place the two stainless steel bowls into their respective holders.
- Attach Splitter (Optional): If feeding two pets, attach the 2-way splitter to the food outlet of the main unit. Ensure it is securely in place. If feeding one pet, you can use the feeder without the splitter and a single bowl.
- Place Bowls: Position the assembled bowls under the food outlets.
- Fill Food Container: Open the lid on top of the feeder and pour dry pet food into the 3.8L container. Close the lid securely to maintain food freshness.

5.2 Power Supply
The feeder can be powered by the included DC adapter or by D-cell batteries as a backup.
- Primary Power: Connect the 5V DC power adapter to the feeder's power port and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Battery Backup: For power outage protection, insert 4 x D-cell alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the feeder. Ensure correct polarity. The feeder will automatically switch to battery power if the main power is interrupted.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Control Panel Overview
The control panel is located on the top of the feeder. It features an LCD display and several buttons for programming.

6.2 Setting the Clock
- Press the Clock Setting button. The hour digits will flash.
- Use the Hours Setting button to adjust the hour.
- Press the Clock Setting button again. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the Minutes Setting button to adjust the minutes.
- Press the Clock Setting button once more to save the time.
6.3 Programming Meal Times and Portions
The feeder allows you to program up to 6 meals per day.
- Press the Meal Switch button to select the meal number (1-6) you wish to program.
- With the desired meal number selected, press the Clock Setting button. The hour digits for that meal will flash.
- Use the Hours Setting button to set the meal hour.
- Press the Clock Setting button again. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the Minutes Setting button to set the meal minutes.
- Press the Clock Setting button once more to confirm the meal time.
- Next, press the Meals Portion Volume button. The portion number will flash.
- Use the Meals Portion Volume button repeatedly to select the desired number of portions (1-48) for this meal. Each portion is approximately 0.28 oz (1/16 cup).
- Repeat steps 1-8 for any additional meals you wish to program.
6.4 Voice Recording
You can record a 10-second voice message that will play at each scheduled meal time.
- Press and hold the Recording button until you hear a beep.
- Speak your 10-second message clearly into the microphone.
- Release the Recording button when finished. You will hear two beeps to confirm the recording is saved.
- To play back the recording, briefly press the Recording button.
- To disable the recording, press and hold the Recording button until you hear three beeps. Repeat to re-enable.

6.5 Manual Feeding
To dispense a single portion of food immediately, press the Manual Feeding button. This will dispense one portion without affecting the programmed schedule.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper functioning of the feeder.
- Disconnect Power: Unplug the power adapter and remove any backup batteries before cleaning.
- Empty Food: Remove any remaining dry food from the container.
- Disassemble: Detach the lid, food container, 2-way splitter, and stainless steel bowls from the main unit.
- Wash Removable Parts: The lid, food container, splitter, and stainless steel bowls can be hand-washed with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean Main Unit: Wipe the main feeder unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Dry Completely: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and refilling with food.

8. Troubleshooting
- Food Not Dispensing:
- Check if the food tank is empty. Refill if necessary.
- Ensure the kibble size is within the recommended range (5-16mm) and not exceeding 0.47 inches (12mm). Larger kibble can cause blockages.
- Check for any obstructions in the food outlet or dispensing mechanism. The anti-clog design should attempt to clear minor blockages automatically.
- Verify that the feeder is powered correctly (AC adapter or fresh batteries).
- Blue LED Flashing:
- This indicates a low food level. Refill the food tank.
- Feeder Not Turning On:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the feeder and a working wall outlet.
- If using battery backup, check if the D-cell batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Voice Recording Not Playing:
- Ensure the voice recording feature is enabled (refer to section 6.4).
- Check if the volume is audible.
- Scheduled Meals Not Dispensing:
- Verify that the clock is set to the correct time.
