Do NOT use the Edihome mincer to mince the following:

- Frozen meat
- Defrosting meat
- Bones
- Fats and other substances with similar viscosity.
These foods can cause damage to the motor, blades, and other elements of the mincer and constitute misuse that voids any product warranty.

Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your Edihome Electric Meat Grinder:
- Ensure the motor unit is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Insert the grinder head into the motor unit's opening, aligning the tab on the grinder head with the slot on the motor unit. Secure it by turning the loose lock key.
- Insert the auger (screw) into the grinder head.
- Place the four-blade cutting knife onto the end of the auger shaft, ensuring the sharp edges face outwards.
- Select your desired cutting plate (fine, medium, or coarse) and place it over the cutting knife, aligning the notch on the plate with the pin on the grinder head.
- Screw the grinder head locking ring onto the grinder head until it is tight.
- Place the feeding tray on top of the grinder head.
- The food pusher (rush rod) is used to guide meat into the grinder.

Operation

General Usage:
- Ensure the appliance is correctly assembled and plugged into a suitable power outlet.
- Cut meat into pieces that fit easily into the feeding tray opening.
- Turn on the appliance using the power switch.
- Feed meat into the opening using the food pusher. Never use your fingers or other utensils to push meat.
- Collect the minced meat in a bowl placed under the grinder head.
Mincing Meat:
Use the appropriate cutting plate for your desired texture:
- Fine Plate: Ideal for pâtés, baby food, or very smooth textures.
- Medium Plate: Suitable for bolognese, meatballs, or general ground meat.
- Coarse Plate: Best for sausages, chili, or coarser meat preparations.

Multifunctional Use:
The Edihome meat grinder is versatile, allowing you to prepare various meat products:
- Ground Beef: Easily prepare fresh ground beef for burgers, tacos, or casseroles.
- Sausage Stuffing: Attach the sausage stuffer nozzle to create homemade sausages.
- Kubbe Making: Use the kubbe attachment to form traditional Middle Eastern kubbe.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Edihome Electric Meat Grinder.
Cleaning Instructions:
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Disassemble all removable parts (grinder head, auger, cutting knife, cutting plates, locking ring, tray, food pusher).
- Important: The aluminum parts (grinder head, auger, cutting knife, cutting plates, locking ring, tray) are NOT dishwasher safe. Clean these parts by hand with warm, soapy water.
- Do not use alkaline cleaners or bleach, as these can damage the aluminum.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water and dry them immediately to prevent oxidation or rust.
- Wipe the motor unit (host) with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
Storage:
Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Edihome Electric Meat Grinder, refer to these common solutions:
- Appliance does not turn on: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Motor overheats: The machine is designed for domestic use. Avoid continuous operation for extended periods or mincing very large quantities of meat without breaks. Allow the motor to cool down if it feels hot. Refer to safety instructions for foods to avoid.
