6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Gridinlux Homely Temp unit, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on. | No power supply. | Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. |
| No cooling effect. | Water tank is empty or low. Evaporative filter is dirty. | Fill the water tank. Clean the evaporative filter. Ensure ice packs are frozen and in the tank. Note: This is an evaporative cooler, not an air conditioner, and provides a localized cooling effect. |
| No heating effect. | Heating function not activated. | Press the 'WARM' button on the control panel or remote. |
| Weak airflow. | Air inlets/outlets blocked. Fan speed too low. | Ensure no obstructions. Increase fan speed. |
| Remote control not working. | Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. Obstruction between remote and unit. | Replace batteries (Lithium Manganese Dioxide type). Ensure clear line of sight to the unit's receiver. |
