3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the various components and controls of your KLIM Nomad.
3.1 Front Panel Controls

4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Player
Before first use, fully charge your KLIM Nomad. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the DC 5V / CHARGE port on the player and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicator will illuminate during charging and turn green when fully charged. A full charge provides over 14 hours of continuous playtime.
4.2 Powering On/Off
To turn on the player, slide the Power ON/OFF switch located on the side to the 'ON' position. The LCD display will light up. To turn off the player, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.
4.3 Hold Function
The HOLD switch, located on the rear of the player, locks all buttons to prevent accidental presses during transport or storage. Slide it to 'ON' to activate the lock, and 'OFF' to deactivate it. When 'HOLD' is active, the display will show 'Key Hold' and buttons will not respond.
5. Operation
5.1 CD Playback
- Slide the 'OPEN' latch to open the CD compartment.
- Insert a CD (CD-R, CD-RW, or MP3 CD) with the label side facing up.
- Gently close the CD compartment until it clicks securely.
- The player will automatically begin reading the disc and start playback.
- Use the Play/Pause, Skip/Fast Forward, and Skip/Rewind buttons to control playback.

5.2 Bluetooth Connectivity
- Ensure your Bluetooth audio device (headphones, speaker) is in pairing mode.
- On the KLIM Nomad, press the Bluetooth button. The Bluetooth icon on the display will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- Select 'KLIM Nomad' from the list of available devices on your audio device.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth icon will become solid, and audio will stream wirelessly.
5.3 FM Radio
- Press the Mode button until 'FM' appears on the display, or press the dedicated FM button.
- For optimal reception, plug the provided 3.5mm audio cable into the Headphone Jack 2 (☻) port; it acts as an external antenna.
- Use the Skip/Fast Forward and Skip/Rewind buttons to tune to different frequencies.
5.4 TF Card Playback
- Insert a TF (microSD) card containing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3) into the TF CARD slot.
- The player will automatically detect the card and begin playback.
- Use the DIR button to navigate through different folders or directories on the TF card.
5.5 EQ Settings
Press the EQ button repeatedly to cycle through the available equalizer presets, which optimize the sound for different music genres:
- BBS (Bass Boost)
- Pop
- Jazz
- Rock
- Classical
- Flat (Normal)
5.6 Dual Headphone Output
