Setup
Physical Setup
The NEBULA Cosmos Laser 1080P Projector is designed for portability with an ergonomically designed handle, allowing for convenient movement between locations such as the bedroom or backyard.

Initial Configuration: Installing the 4K Dongle
The projector comes with a built-in dongle for enhanced functionality. Follow these steps to install it:
- Step 1: Push and slide up to open the back cover of the projector.
- Step 2: Connect the dongle to the Micro-USB connector and Micro-HDMI connector located inside the compartment.
- Step 3: Close the back cover securely.

Image Adjustment
The projector features Intelligent Environment Adaptation (IEA) Technology for quick setup, including auto focus, auto keystone correction, and screen fit. It also includes an advanced eye guard feature.

Auto Focus & Keystone Correction
The projector can automatically adjust focus and keystone. To enable or use these features:
- Method 1: Press the Settings button on your projector. Select Image Correction, then enable One-Click Focus and Keystone Correction.
- Method 2: Follow the Android TV setup guide. Select Nebula as your TV brand. Set up the remote, then press and hold the Source button on your remote. This will activate Auto-Keystone Correction.
Manual Focus & Keystone Correction
For fine-tuning, you can manually adjust the focus and keystone.
- Step 1: Press the Settings button on the projector.
- Step 2: Select Image Correction > Manual Focus Correction (for focus) or Manual Keystone Correction (for keystone).
- Step 3: Manually adjust your image as desired using the on-screen controls or the Nebula Connect app.
Operating
Connecting Devices
The projector offers multiple device connections including USB, HDMI, AUX, AC-IN, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Connecting via HDMI
- Connect the HDMI cable to your external device (e.g., laptop).
- Locate the HDMI port on the back of your projector and connect the other end of the cable.
- Your projector will automatically switch to the HDMI source.
Connecting a USB Flash Drive
- Locate the USB port on the back of your projector.
- Insert your flash drive into the USB port.
- The projector will prompt you to open a file commander to access your media.
Screen Mirroring and Casting
You can screen mirror or cast content from your iPhone or Android phone.
- Step 1: Open Google Play on your projector and install the 'AirScreen' app.
- Step 2 (iPhone): Enable Screen Mirroring on your iPhone and select 'Nebula'.
- Step 1 (Android Phone): Open the app on your Android phone (e.g., YouTube) and select the content you want, then click the 'Cast' icon.
Audio Features

Switching to Bluetooth Speaker Mode
- Step 1: Press the Settings button on your projector.
- Step 2: Select Bluetooth Speaker Mode.
- Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and pair with 'Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K'.
Connecting a Soundbar
- Locate the AUX port on the back of your projector.
- Connect the AUX cable from your soundbar to the projector's AUX port.
- To connect via Bluetooth, press the Settings button on the remote, then select Remote & Accessories to pair with your soundbar.
Setting up Your Microphone
- Step 1: Power on and connect your microphone to your projector.
- Step 2: Press the Settings button on your projector.
- Step 3: Select Microphone to adjust settings like mic volume and reverb.
Android TV Features
Android TV 10.0 provides access to over 400,000 movies and episodes across 7,000+ apps, ensuring a vast selection of content. The projector also has Chromecast built-in.

Firmware Updates
Keeping your device's firmware up to date is important for better performance.
System Update
- Step 1: Press the Settings button on the remote.
- Step 2: Select Device Preferences > About > System Update.
- Step 3: Tap to update the latest firmware.
Projector Firmware Update
- Step 1: Press the Settings button on the remote.
- Step 2: Select Device Preferences > About > Projector Firmware Update.
- Step 3: Tap to update the latest firmware.
Eyesight Protection
The projector is equipped with two ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensors under the projector lens, which measure the distance between the projector and the screen. As a smart technology, you'll receive an eyesight protection alert when someone or something is in front of the projector sensor. The projector light will temporarily reduce to better protect your eyesight.

Caution: DO NOT shield the projector lens in case of high-temperature damage.
You can disable this feature in Advance Settings if you feel uncomfortable with the multiple alerts.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, try the following common solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the projector and a working power outlet.
- No Image: Check the input source. Verify that the lens cap is removed and the lens is clean. Adjust focus and keystone settings.
- Poor Image Quality: Ensure the projection surface is flat and clean. Adjust brightness, contrast, and color settings in the projector menu.
- No Sound: Check the volume levels on both the projector and any connected external audio devices. Ensure the correct audio output is selected.
- Remote Not Responding: Replace the AAA batteries. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the projector.
- Network Connectivity Issues: Verify your Wi-Fi password. Restart your router and the projector.
- App Issues: Ensure the app is updated to the latest version. Clear the app's cache or reinstall it.
