4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your IDEAPLAY BCH-20 headphones for the first time:

  1. Charge the Headphones: Before first use, fully charge the headphones using the provided USB-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the headphones and a compatible USB-A power source. The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the multifunction button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a voice prompt "Power On" and the indicator light flashes.
  3. Pairing Mode: The headphones will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by alternating red and blue flashing lights.
  4. Connect via Bluetooth: On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and scan for new devices. Select "iDeaPlay BCH-20" from the list of available devices. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone or voice prompt.
  5. Adjust for Comfort: Place the headphones so the transducers rest comfortably on your cheekbones, just in front of your ears. Adjust the band for a secure fit.
Step 1: Press and hold the multifunction button for 5 seconds to power on.

5. Operating Instructions

The IDEAPLAY BCH-20 headphones feature a multifunction button (MFB) for controlling various functions.

Multifunction Button (MFB) Controls:

  • Play/Pause Music: Click the MFB once.
  • Answer/End Call: Click the MFB once.
  • Reject Call: Double-click the MFB.
  • Next Track: Double-click the MFB.
  • Previous Track: Triple-click the MFB.
  • Voice Assistant: Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds.

Volume control is managed directly from your connected device.

  • No Power: Ensure the headphones are fully charged. Connect them to the charging cable and a power source.
