  • Grounding: This product is equipped with a grounded plug. Only plug into properly grounded outlets.
  • Outdoor Use: This extension cord reel is rated for outdoor use. However, avoid using it in wet conditions or submerging it in water.

Operating Instructions

  1. Extend the Cord: Grasp the cord and pull it to the desired length. The auto-locking system will hold the cord in place. For high-wattage tools, fully extend the cord to prevent overheating.
  2. Connect Devices: Plug your tools or appliances into the four grounded outlets on the reel.
  3. Power On: Flip the "POWER" On/Off switch to the "On" position. The light indicator will illuminate when power is supplied to the outlets.
  4. Circuit Breaker: The reel features a built-in circuit breaker with overload protection. If the rated current or voltage is exceeded, the circuit breaker will automatically trip, cutting power to the outlets. To reset, unplug all devices, wait a few minutes, and then press the red reset button located near the main power switch.
  5. Rewind the Cord: When finished, unplug all devices and the main power cord from the wall. Use the easy-grip handle to manually rewind the cord back onto the reel. The integrated cord guide helps prevent tangles.

  • Cord Inspection: Regularly inspect the cord for cuts, abrasions, or exposed wires. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately and replace the product.

Troubleshooting

No power to outlets:
  • Check if the main power cord is securely plugged into a live outlet.
  • Ensure the On/Off switch on the reel is in the "On" position.

Cord not retracting smoothly:
  • Ensure there are no kinks or knots in the cord.
  • Check for any obstructions in the cord guide mechanism.
  • Manually assist the cord if necessary, ensuring it winds evenly.
