Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to connect your ANSTEN Wireless Headphones to your television or audio source.
1. Locate Your Audio Output
Identify the audio output ports on the back of your television. Look for a red and white RCA connector labeled "AUDIO OUT". It is crucial to use an output port, not an input port (e.g., "COMPONENT IN" or "AUDIO IN").

Connect the red RCA cable to the red "AUDIO OUT" port and the white (or black) RCA cable to the white "AUDIO OUT" port on your TV. Then connect the other end of these cables to the corresponding inputs on the ANSTEN transmitter base.

2. Switch to Fixed Audio Output (TV Settings)
After connecting the cables, access your television's audio menu. Look for an option to switch the audio output to "Fixed Audio Output". This setting ensures a consistent and strong audio signal to your headphones, preventing static or signal loss. If you are unsure how to find this setting, consult your TV's user manual or contact the manufacturer.
3. Using a Digital to Analog Converter (Optional)
If your TV does not have red and white analog RCA audio output ports (e.g., only optical or HDMI output), you will need a separate Digital to Analog Converter (DAC). This converter is not included in the ANSTEN package.
Connect the digital audio output from your TV to the input of the DAC. Then, connect the RCA cables from the DAC's analog output to the ANSTEN transmitter base. You may also need to configure your TV's audio settings to output digital audio correctly.
4. Connecting via Headphone Jack (Alternative)
You can also connect the ANSTEN transmitter to your TV's 3.5mm headphone jack. However, be aware that using the headphone jack will typically mute your TV's built-in speakers, meaning others in the room will not hear the audio. If you wish for others to hear the TV while you use the headphones, use the RCA "AUDIO OUT" method described in Step 1.

A1: The ANSTEN ADH300 is compatible with all TVs that have RCA/AUX Audio Output ports. Please confirm whether your TV has one of these OUTPUT interfaces before purchasing. It does not directly support OPTICAL or HDMI audio out. If your TV ONLY has an OPTICAL Output Port, you will need a Digital to Analog converter separately.
Q2: Why can't the headphones produce any sound?
A2: Please ensure all connections are correct and your TV settings are properly configured for audio output (e.g., "Fixed Audio Output"). Refer to the "Setup Instructions" section in this manual. You can also search "ANSTEN ADH300" on YouTube for detailed operation videos.
Q3: Why are my headphones not charging properly?
A3: Please retract both headbands before charging. Ensure the headphone and the base are in accurate contact. The green LED will be on when charging and will turn off when fully charged.

A4: This depends on your TV. If your TV only supports single sound output, the TV speaker will either be automatically muted when you plug something into an audio out port (RCA/AUX, etc.) or they become disabled once you choose External Speakers of your TV audio output. To allow both TV speakers and headphones to play simultaneously, your TV must support simultaneous audio output from both internal speakers and external audio out ports. If not, you must use the RCA "AUDIO OUT" ports and ensure your TV settings allow for both outputs to be active, or use a separate audio splitter if available and compatible.
