Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Cocomelon Singalong Boombox requires 3 x AA batteries (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
2. Power On/Off and Volume Control
On the back of the unit, locate the switch for power and volume settings.
- Slide the switch to the 'ON' position for normal operation.
- The switch also allows you to select between High, Medium, and Low volume settings. Adjust to your preference.
- To conserve battery life, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position when not in use.
Operating Instructions
1. Using the Microphone
The boombox includes a real working microphone for singalong fun.
- Ensure the microphone is securely plugged into the designated port on the boombox.
- Press the microphone button on the front panel to activate it. The button will illuminate when active.
- Speak or sing into the microphone. Your voice will be amplified through the boombox speaker.
- To deactivate the microphone, press the microphone button again.
2. Playing Built-in Music and Sounds
The boombox features several buttons on the front panel to play Cocomelon songs and sound effects.
- Press any of the character buttons to play a segment of a built-in Cocomelon song. Songs include 'The Wheels on the Bus', 'Bath Song', and 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'.
- Use the switch located above the song buttons to toggle between playing full song segments and various sound effects.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the boombox, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
Battery Care
Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and are not depleted. Check that the power switch on the back is in the 'ON' position.
- Microphone Not Working: Verify the microphone is securely plugged in. Ensure the microphone activation button on the front is pressed and illuminated.
- Songs are Short/Demo Mode: If songs play only for a few seconds, the unit might be in demo mode. Locate the Demo/Off/On switch on the back and ensure it is set to 'ON' for full functionality.
- Low Volume: Adjust the volume switch on the back of the unit to a higher setting (Medium or High).
