Setup

- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the lid, pump tube, and filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the percolator pot with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the electrical base in water.
- Assemble Filter System: Insert the pump tube through the center hole of the filter basket. Place the perforated cover onto the pump tube.
- Add Water: Fill the percolator pot with cold, fresh water to your desired cup marking inside the pot. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line.
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place the assembled filter basket and pump tube into the percolator pot, ensuring the bottom of the pump tube rests securely in the heating well. Add your preferred amount of coarse ground coffee into the filter basket. Use approximately one heaping tablespoon of coffee per cup of water for a strong brew, adjusting to taste. Coarse grounds are recommended to prevent sediment.

Operating Instructions
- Connect Power: Plug the removable power cord into the percolator's base, then plug the other end into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
- Start Brewing: Flip the power switch on the base to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that brewing has begun.
- Brewing Process: Water will heat and rise through the pump tube, showering over the coffee grounds in the basket. You will observe the coffee perking through the transparent knob on the lid. Brewing typically takes 7-10 minutes for a full pot.
- Ready to Serve: Once brewing is complete, the percolator will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" function, and the indicator light will change (or remain illuminated, depending on the model, indicating readiness). The coffee will be held at approximately 170°F.
- Serving: Carefully pour coffee using the cool-touch handle and easy-pour spout. Pour slowly to avoid drips.
- Turn Off: When finished serving or when the pot is empty, turn the power switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the percolator from the wall outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your percolator and ensure consistently great-tasting coffee.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, unplug the percolator and allow it to cool completely. Discard used coffee grounds. Remove the lid, pump tube, and filter basket. Wash these removable parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Interior Cleaning: Clean the interior of the percolator pot with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the percolator with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- DO NOT Immerse: Never immerse the electrical base of the percolator in water or any other liquid.
- Dishwasher Safety: The product features state "Hand wash to preserve finish" and "All Stainless Steel Parts Are Dishwasher Safe". For best longevity of the finish, hand washing is recommended for all parts.
