Setup Instructions
Attaching the Chatpad to Your Controller
- Align the chatpad with the bottom port of your compatible Xbox controller.
- Gently push the chatpad until it securely clicks into place.
Connecting to Your Xbox Console
- Locate the 2.4G wireless receiver stored in the chatpad's compartment (usually on the back or side).
- Insert the 2.4G receiver into an available USB port on your Xbox console.
- Turn on your Xbox controller. The chatpad's backlight will illuminate, indicating it's powered on.
- Press and hold the pairing button on the chatpad (usually a small button near the receiver slot) for approximately 15 seconds. The blue indicator light will flash, then turn off upon successful pairing.
Operating the Chatpad
Powering On/Off
The chatpad is automatically powered by the connected Xbox controller. To activate the backlight, press the "Xbox" key on the controller. The backlight will enter a power-saving state if inactive for 10 seconds.
Backlight Settings
The chatpad features a bright green backlight. Refer to the videos below for demonstrations of backlight modes and settings.
Typing and Communication
Use the tailored 47-key QWERTY layout for quick and efficient typing of messages, emails, and codes during gameplay. The soft-touch keys provide a comfortable typing experience.

Troubleshooting

Keyboard Not Responding

- Verify the chatpad is properly attached to the bottom port of your Xbox controller.
- Re-attempt the pairing process by holding the pairing button on the chatpad for approximately 15 seconds until the blue indicator light flashes and then turns off.
- Check if the controller itself is powered on and functioning correctly.
Backlight Not Working
- Press the "Xbox" key on the controller to activate the backlight.
- If the backlight still doesn't activate, ensure the chatpad is securely connected to the controller and the controller has sufficient power.
Audio Issues
- Ensure your audio device (headphones, earphones, headset) is fully plugged into the 3.5mm audio jack on the chatpad.
