4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge your headset. A full charge takes approximately 1.6 hours and provides up to 24 hours of talk time.

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the USB-C port on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator on the headset will show charging status.

4.2 Connecting to a Computer (USB-C Adapter)

Use the included BT700 USB-C Bluetooth adapter for optimal performance with your computer.

  1. Plug the BT700 USB-C adapter into a USB-C port on your computer.
  2. The adapter's LED will flash to indicate it's searching for the headset.
  3. Power on your headset. It will automatically pair with the adapter. The adapter's LED will turn solid blue when connected.
  4. Ensure the headset is selected as the audio input/output device in your computer's sound settings.

4.3 Connecting to a Mobile Phone (Bluetooth)

Pair your headset directly with your mobile phone via Bluetooth 5.2.

  1. With the headset powered off, press and hold the Power button until the LED flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your mobile phone, go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  3. Select "Poly Voyager 4310 UC" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once paired, the headset LED will stop flashing and remain solid blue.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Call Management

  • Answer/End Call: Press the Call button once.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds.
  • Redial: Double-press the Call button.

5.2 Volume Control

Use the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons on the ear cup to adjust listening volume.

5.3 Microphone Mute

Press the Mute button on the microphone boom to mute or unmute your microphone during a call.

5.4 Microsoft Teams Integration

For Microsoft Teams certified models, a dedicated Teams button provides quick access:

  • Launch Teams: Press the Teams button when not on a call.
  • Notifications: The Teams button will flash for incoming calls or notifications. Press to answer/view.

Proper care ensures the longevity of your headset.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the headset with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse in water.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
