1. Introduction
Welcome to the Casio Casiotone LK-S450, a versatile and portable 61-key electronic keyboard designed for both beginners and experienced musicians. This instrument combines a rich sound library with innovative learning tools, making music creation and learning accessible and enjoyable. Please read this manual thoroughly to understand all features and ensure proper use.

2. Setup
2.1. Unboxing and Contents
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:
- Casio Casiotone LK-S450 Keyboard
- 9.5V DC Power Supply
- Music Rest
- User Manual (this document)
2.2. Power Connection
The LK-S450 can be powered using the included AC adapter or 6 AA batteries (sold separately).
- AC Adapter: Connect the 9.5V DC power supply to the DC 9.5V jack on the rear of the keyboard and plug it into a standard wall outlet.
- Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the keyboard and insert 6 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. The keyboard supports both NiMH and alkaline batteries.

2.3. Initial Power-On
Press the POWER button to turn on the keyboard. The LCD screen will illuminate, and the default tone (Stage Piano) will be selected.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Basic Operation
- Selecting Tones: Use the TONE button and the data entry dial to browse and select from 600 different instrument tones.
- Selecting Rhythms: Press the RHYTHM button and use the data entry dial to choose from 200 built-in rhythms.
- Volume Control: Adjust the master volume using the VOLUME knob.
- Touch Sensitivity: The keys are touch-sensitive, meaning the volume changes based on how hard you press them. This feature can be adjusted or turned off via the function menu for consistent volume.
- Pitch Bend: Utilize the pitch bend wheel located on the left side of the keyboard to smoothly alter the pitch of notes for expressive playing.

3.2. Learning Features
- Key Lighting System: When a song is selected for learning, the keys will light up to indicate the correct notes to play. This visual guide assists in learning melodies and chords.
- Step-Up Lessons: Engage with the built-in Step-Up lessons to practice songs in stages, improving your playing skills progressively. The keyboard provides voice-guided feedback.
- Chordana Play App: Connect your keyboard to the free Chordana Play app (iOS/Android) to access a vast library of MIDI files. The app displays notes in a
