Setup and Installation

Unpacking:

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the refrigerator for any shipping damage. Do not tip the refrigerator during unpacking; keep it upright. If the unit was tilted during transport, allow it to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in to allow the refrigerant to settle.

Placement:

• Choose a location with a firm, level floor.
• Ensure adequate air circulation around the refrigerator. Maintain at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space on the sides and back, and 8 inches (20 cm) on top.
• Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat sources (e.g., stove, heater).
• The refrigerator is suitable for dorms, bedrooms, offices, and apartments.

Leveling:

The refrigerator comes with adjustable leveling legs. Rotate the legs clockwise or counter-clockwise to raise or lower the unit until it is perfectly level. This ensures proper door sealing and efficient operation.

Reversible Door:

The door hinges are reversible, allowing you to change the door swing direction to suit your space. Refer to the detailed instructions in the included user manual for the door reversal procedure.

Operating Instructions

Temperature Control:

The refrigerator features a 7-level temperature adjustment dial located inside the fresh food compartment. The temperature range is from 33.8°F (1°C) to 46.4°F (8°C).

• Rotate the dial to select your desired cooling level.
• For general use, levels 2-3 are recommended in summer.
• In winter, levels 4-5 may be more suitable to prevent over-cooling.
• Higher numbers indicate colder settings.

Storage Compartments:

• Do not open the refrigerator door too frequently or leave it open for long periods.
• Ensure the door seal is clean and intact for optimal sealing.
• Allow hot foods to cool to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.
• Clean the interior with a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
• The removable door seal can be cleaned with warm soapy water.
• Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner.
• Clean the condenser coils at the back of the unit periodically with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to maintain efficiency.

Defrosting:

This refrigerator features manual defrost. Frost buildup in the freezer compartment can reduce cooling efficiency.

• When frost accumulation reaches about 0.2 inches (5 mm) thick, defrost the unit.
• Unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items.
• Leave the doors open to allow frost to melt naturally. Place towels or a shallow pan to collect water.
• Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting.
• Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in and returning food.
