Operating Instructions
1. Basic Operation (Side Switch)
- Turn On/Off: Double-click the side switch to turn the H3 LED light on. Long press for approximately 0.3 seconds to turn off.
- Mode Selection: When the light is on, single-click the side switch to cycle through modes in the order: Moonlight → Low → Medium → High.
- Moonlight Mode (from off): When the light is off, single-click the side switch to directly access Moonlight mode. This allows for low-light use without harsh brightness.

2. Tail Switch Operation
The tail switch provides similar functionality to the side switch for quick access and mode cycling. The operations are generally the same as the side switch, except for the long press function which may differ slightly for turning off.
- Turn On/Off: Double-click the tail switch to turn the H3 LED light on. Long press to turn off.
- Mode Selection: When the light is on, single-click the tail switch to cycle through modes: Moonlight → Low → Medium → High.
3. Instant Memory Mode
The H3 flashlight features an instant memory mode. When you turn the flashlight off, it will remember the last used brightness level (Low, Medium, or High) and return to that mode the next time it is powered on. Moonlight mode is typically accessed directly from off with a single click, overriding the memory for other modes.
Maintenance
1. Charging the Built-in Battery
To maintain optimal performance, charge the built-in Li-Po battery regularly, especially when the light output diminishes. Use the provided USB-C cable and a standard USB power source. The charging indicator will show charging status.
2. AAA Battery Replacement
If using an AAA battery, replace it when the light output becomes dim or the flashlight stops functioning. Always use high-quality AAA batteries for best performance and to prevent leakage.
3. Cleaning and Care
- Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth.
- Keep the threads and O-rings clean and lubricated with silicone grease to maintain water resistance.
- Avoid dropping the flashlight or subjecting it to strong impacts.
4. Water Resistance (IPX8)
The RovyVon H3 is rated IPX8 waterproof, meaning it can be continuously submerged in water up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Ensure all parts are securely tightened before exposing the flashlight to water.
