  • Power Switch: Turns the unit on/off.
  • LED Display: Shows SETTING/TEMP (set temperature), ACTUAL/TEMP (actual temperature), and AIR (airflow level).
  • TEMP Buttons (Up/Down): Adjust the desired temperature.
  • AIR Buttons (Up/Down): Adjust the airflow level (1-200).
  • CH1-CH4 Buttons: Memory channels to save and recall frequently used temperature and airflow settings.
  • SET Button: Used to confirm settings or enter calibration mode.
  • °C/°F Button: Toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display.

5.2 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Flip the red POWER switch to the 'ON' position. The display will illuminate.
  2. Set Temperature: Use the TEMP Up/Down buttons to set your desired temperature. The SETTING/TEMP display will show the target temperature. The ACTUAL/TEMP display will show the current temperature, which will rapidly rise to meet the set value.
  3. Adjust Airflow: Use the AIR Up/Down buttons to adjust the airflow level from 1 to 200.
  4. Temperature Unit: Press the °C/°F button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

5.3 Memory Storage (CH1-CH4)

The rework station allows you to store up to four sets of temperature and airflow settings for quick recall.

  1. Saving Settings: Set your desired temperature and airflow. Press and hold one of the CH1-CH4 buttons for approximately 3 seconds until the display indicates the setting has been saved.
  2. Recalling Settings: Briefly press one of the CH1-CH4 buttons to instantly recall the saved settings for that channel.

5.4 Auto Sleep Function

When the hot air handle is placed into its holder, the unit automatically enters a cooling phase and then goes into sleep mode after approximately 10 seconds. This protects the heating element and extends the lifespan of the handle. When the handle is lifted from the holder, it will automatically resume the last used settings.

5.5 Quick Change Air Nozzle Bracket

The quick change air nozzle bracket allows for easy and rapid nozzle changes without needing to wait for the handle to cool down or use additional tools.

  1. Removing a Nozzle: While the handle is hot, carefully insert the nozzle into the designated slot on the quick change bracket. Twist the handle slightly to disengage the nozzle, then lift the handle. The nozzle will remain in the bracket.
  2. Attaching a Nozzle: Select the desired nozzle from the storage bracket. Align the hot air handle with the nozzle in the quick change bracket and push down gently, twisting slightly until the nozzle is securely attached.
