2. Setup and Connections

2.1 Connecting Devices

The mixer supports a wide range of audio input devices. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the unit.

  • XLR Inputs (Channels 1-4): Connect dynamic or condenser microphones (requires 48V phantom power for condenser mics) and other XLR-compatible devices.
  • 6.3mm Inputs: Use for instruments like guitars or keyboards.
  • RCA Inputs: For connecting devices with RCA outputs, such as CD players or other audio sources.
  • USB Port: Connect a USB flash drive for MP3 playback or a PC for recording and playback.
  • Bluetooth: Pair with mobile devices for wireless audio input.

2.2 Bluetooth Connection

To connect via Bluetooth, select the Bluetooth input mode on the mixer. Search for "BMG-06E" on your mobile device's Bluetooth settings and pair. Note that MP3, Bluetooth, and USB functions are mutually exclusive and cannot be used simultaneously.

3. Operating the Mixer

3.1 Microphone Operation

The mixer comes with two UHF wireless microphones. These microphones feature automatic frequency alignment for stable transmission. For optimal performance, ensure the microphones are within the effective range (up to 85 meters).

The mixer also supports dynamic and condenser microphones via its XLR inputs. For condenser microphones, activate the 48V phantom power switch located near the input jack.

3.2 Real-time Monitoring

Connect headphones to the PHONES output to monitor audio in real-time. This allows for precise tuning and adjustment of effects.

3.3 DSP Effects

The mixer features 16 built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor) effects, including Echo and Delay. Use the PROGRAM knob to select an effect and the DSP/ECHO knob to adjust its intensity.
