Setup

1. Charging the Remote Control

2. Connecting the USB Receiver

The power button on the WeChip R2 can learn the IR signal from your original device's remote control, allowing you to power on/off your TV or other IR-controlled devices.

  1. Place the WeChip R2 and your original remote control head-to-head, about 1-3 cm apart.
  2. Press and hold the Power button on the WeChip R2 until the indicator light starts flashing rapidly, then stays solid. This indicates it's in learning mode.
  3. Press the Power button on your original remote control. The indicator light on the WeChip R2 will flash three times and then stay solid, indicating successful learning.
  4. Press the Power button on the WeChip R2 again to exit learning mode.

Maintenance

  • Clean the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep the USB receiver free from dust and debris.
  • Store the remote in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

Troubleshooting
