Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid excessive moisture.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the mouse's finish.
  • Regularly clean the optical sensor area on the bottom of the mouse with a cotton swab to prevent tracking issues.

PTFE Feet Replacement

The MM731 comes with upgraded PTFE feet for smooth gliding. Over time, these feet may wear down. Replacement PTFE feet are included in the package. To replace them:

  1. Carefully peel off the old PTFE feet using a thin, non-abrasive tool.
  2. Ensure the surface is clean and free of adhesive residue.
  3. Peel the backing from the new PTFE feet and carefully align them with the recesses on the mouse's underside.
  4. Press firmly to ensure proper adhesion.

Cable Care

The Ultraweave cable is designed to be lightweight and prevent snagging. Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable to maintain its integrity.
