3. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your DEPSTECH WF025 Wireless Endoscope:
- Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge the endoscope unit using the provided USB cable. The red LED indicator will turn off when charging is complete.
- Download the App: Scan the QR code in the manual or search for "DEPSTECH-View" in your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android) and install the application.
- Power On: Press and hold the power button on the endoscope unit to turn it on. The blue WiFi indicator LED will start blinking.
- Connect to WiFi: On your smartphone or tablet, go to WiFi settings and connect to the WiFi network named "DEPSTECH_XXXX" (where XXXX is a unique identifier). The default password is provided in the manual.
- Launch the App: Open the "DEPSTECH-View" app. The live video feed from the endoscope camera should appear on your screen.

4. Operating Instructions
Once connected, you can begin using your endoscope:
- Adjust LED Brightness: Use the brightness adjustment wheel on the endoscope unit to increase or decrease the intensity of the 6 LED lights around the camera. This is crucial for clear visibility in dark environments.
- Capture Images/Videos: Within the DEPSTECH-View app, you will find buttons to capture still images or record video footage. These files will be saved directly to your connected device.
- Probe Insertion: Carefully insert the 5.5mm probe into the area you wish to inspect. The semi-rigid cable allows for some manipulation to navigate tight spaces.
- Focal Distance: The optimal focal distance for clear images is between 3cm and 40cm (1.18-15.7 inches). Objects outside this range may appear blurry.
- Using Accessories: Attach the hook, magnet, or side view mirror to the end of the probe as needed for retrieving small objects or viewing at a 90-degree angle.

5. Maintenance

- Cleaning: After each use, gently wipe the probe and camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth, but avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the endoscope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Coil the cable loosely to prevent kinks or damage.
- Water Resistance: The probe is IP67 rated, meaning it is resistant to water splashes and brief immersion. However, it is not designed for prolonged underwater use. Ensure the USB charging port is dry before charging.
- Battery Care: For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% every three months to maintain battery health.
